A strange mood prevails in these
drawings by Hamlet Zinkovsky. Deep
skepticism about the meaning in all the things
we see, do and can feel
is the existential absurdity inherent in our
life. We do not understand the meaning, we have no
reasonable possibility to understand the meaning
of our existence. The question of why and for what reason, for what purpose we are
here on our planet, remains unanswered.
The answer is given by reason and philosophy, not by faith
and religion.
