Indications for use:
Female patients.
All female patients under 55 years of age: for the treatment of generalized, partial or other types of epilepsy only when there is no other effective or tolerated treatment.
All female patients over 55 years of age: for the treatment of generalized, partial or other types of epilepsy.
Male patients.
All male patients under 55 years of age initiating treatment with valproates: for the treatment of generalized, partial or other types of epilepsy only when there is no other effective or tolerated treatment.
All male patients established on treatment with valproate or male patients over 55 years of age: For the treatment of generalized, partial or other types of epilepsy.
