The work “Orange Dawn” belongs to the brush of the artist Anatoliy Kryvolap, who is called the most successful Ukrainian artist. His works occupy an honorable place in museum and private collections, and personal exhibitions are always sold out. During many years of fruitful work, Anatoliy Kryvolap created his own, recognizable and unique style in painting, and his name became a brand.
In 1992, together with Tiberiy Silvashi, Oleksandr Zhyvotkov, Marko Geiko, Mykola Kryvenko, Anatoliy Kryvolap founded the group “Picturesque Reservation”. Kryvolap expressed the ideas of this group: the study of the possibilities of color and the paint itself as a universal material with a huge color-plastic range. The “abstract period” in Kryvolap’s work lasted until the early 2000s, and later a new theme appeared in the master’s work – “Ukrainian landscape”. The impetus for changing the theme was the real situation: in the early 2000s, the artist moved to the small village of Zasupovka near Kyiv. The beauty of nature fascinated the city dweller. The beauty of nature fascinated the city dweller. In 2011, Kryvolap was named “Person of the Year” in Ukraine; in 2012 he received the Taras Shevchenko National Prize. In 2011, Anatoliy Dmytrovych’s work twice set world records for sales of contemporary Ukrainian art on the international art market.
