A strange mood prevails in these drawings by Hamlet Zynkovsky. Deep skepticism about the meaning of all the things that we see, do and can feel is an existential absurdity inherent in our life. We do not understand the meaning, we have no reasonable opportunity to understand the meaning of our existence. The question of why and for what reason, for what purpose we are here on our planet remains unanswered. The answer is given by reason and philosophy, not by faith and religion.
